Sunday at a Glance

What happens at Life Bible Kids?

The ministry of Life Bible Kids exists to partner with parents to lead kids into a growing relationship with Jesus Christ. We feel that this can best be accomplished in the context of small groups, where kids are building friendships with both their Small Group Leaders and peers that will last. Here’s what a typical Sunday morning looks like at Life Bible Kids…

What to Expect: Upon arriving at Life Bible Church, your family will be greeted by our friendly hospitality team at the Life Bible Kids Check-in. We use a secure check-in system that utilizes matching tags for both the child and parent. Parents must present their tags in order to pick up their children before leaving the classroom. Once your family is completely checked into Life Bible Kids, our childrens hospitality team will gladly escort you to the appropriate classrooms.

Small Group Environment: Upon arrival at the classroom, each child is greeted by their Small Group Leaders. Kids will then participate with their small group in an activity that is meant to introduce the lesson in a fun and engaging way, usually involving the interaction of their peers and Small Group Leaders.

Large Group Environment: Shortly after arriving, kids will then travel over to their large group environment where they will hear the Bible story. We often times will use costumes, props, videos and characters from the story, anything that helps to make God’s Word come to life. We also carve out time each week for kids to sing at the top of their lungs, as loud as they want, and to tell God just how much they adore Him.

Small Group Environment: After participating in large group, kids travel back to their small group classroom where their leaders help them understand what the day’s story teaches them about God, and how it applies to their lives. Small Group leaders at Life Bible Kids are serious about having fun with kids and passionate about teaching the Gospel TRUTH. We want kids to see how God’s word fits into their lives, to learn how to talk to Him, and to build friendships that will last for years to follow. Each Sunday they connect with the same small group of kids and the same monthly Small Group Leaders, this way they get connected and we have the best chance to establish a relationship that’s going to matter when they need it the most.
